BUILDING NEW SKATERS
Michigan rinks promote basic skills with Star Skate or similar programs to build the foundation for speed skating, roller hockey, roller derby and figure skating. Each skater who participates will create the confidence and skills to advance into more specialized roller sports activities. Classes offer structure and fun to help skaters progress at their own pace and move up to higher levels once skill mastery is demonstrated.
SPEED
Session “fast skaters” can become educated racers through Michigan Speed League Contests.
FIGURE
Participate in Developmental Basic Skills levels at local competitions to gain experience in a fun yet competitive atmosphere. Join a club for entry level RSA testing.
HOCKEY
Great for in-house hockey leagues on inlines or quads!
